The Dean’s Leadership Circle

Is helping to make a difference. We invite you to join us.

The Dean’s Leadership Circle is a close association of business leaders, successful Merage School alumni, faculty, and other friends who enjoy access to high-powered business executives and the highly ranked, world-class Merage research faculty.

Since its inception, the Dean’s Leadership Circle has raised $750,000 in pledges, with more than 260 dedicated members. This funding has allowed the Merage School to secure well-known business faculty in addition to technology and classroom improvements that will enhance the student experience.

This year, 2007-2008, all funds raised will be allocated to creating the new Endowed Professorship named for the Dean’s Leadership Circle. Through the endowment of a professorship, the Dean’s Leadership Circle signals its commitment to the Merage School’s stated goal of maintaining and enhancing the quality of the Merage faculty and the infrastructure for recruitment, development, retention and reward. Endowed professorships are critically important to the School’s long term growth and advancement. The Dean’s Leadership Circle Endowed Professorship will, in perpetuity, enhance the School’s ability to attract and retain the highest caliber of scholars who teach and research at our institution.

Events

Annual Family Day Event

Each year the Dean's Leadership Circle sponsors a Family Day event. This year's event was at The Ocean Institute in Dana Point. The event included a special private breakfast and tour for Merage families, followed by an afternoon of music, fine arts, kids carnival and crafts. While sponsored by the Dean's Leadership Circle, the event is open to all Merage alumni, students, faculty and staff, and thier families.
