By Air
If possible, fly into John Wayne/Orange County Airport in Santa Ana (airport
code SNA). The airport is approximately five miles from the UC Irvine campus.
International and cross-country domestic flights typically go to Los Angeles
International Airport (airport code LAX). Those flying into LAX can use a shuttle
service from Los Angeles to the UC Irvine campus for about $50.
By Car
- If you are coming from NORTH of Irvine (Los Angeles area):
Take the 405 freeway south. Take the Jamboree exit. From the freeway off ramp
turn right onto Jamboree. Turn left onto Campus Drive. Continue down Campus
and make a right at the light at Stanford. Immediately turn into Social Sciences/MPAA
Parking Structure. For visitors who have received a Special Events Parking
Pass, please read the Special Event Parking Permit instructions on where to
park. For visitors who do not have a parking pass, All-Day ($5) or Half-Day
($4) Parking Passes can be purchased at the kiosk located at the entrance
to the parking structure. You may park in any stall unless indicated by signage.

Take the 5 or the 405 north. Exit on Jamboree, turn left. Turn left onto Campus
Drive. Continue down Campus and make a right at the light at Stanford. Immediately

Take the 91 west to the 55 south. Take the 55 south to the 405 south. From

Specialty Parking Spaces are located in the center section just off
the ramp leading from the 2nd Floor to the 3rd Floor
- Enter the Social Sciences Parking Structure from Campus & Stanford
- Go up to end of the center ramp and Turn Left, then make another immediate
Left
- Come to opening on the left-side, 100 ft.down, & Turn Left again
- Make a Quick Right & immediately you are at the special reserved spaces
- Look on walls for your space #
