Alumni Chapters & Events

The new implementation of regional chapters began with Los Angeles and San Diego, and soon to be Orange County, our flagship chapter. Other active areas that are currently being targeted include: Seattle, Northern California/Bay Area, Washington, D.C. and New York. If your city has an alumni population we will want to work with you to form a regional chapter.

These chapters mean many involvement opportunities for alumni outside of the Irvine geographic, including serving on committees to plan events and activities in your area! If you would like to become the regional contact for your area, please email us at MerageAlum@merage.uci.edu.

Upcoming chapter events will be announced in the monthly Alumni Network e-Newsletter and all alumni that the Alumni Database shows living in the region will be notified. To make sure you receive all notices and invitations, please keep your alumni profile up-to-date.

Alumni Luncheon Events

Lunch gatherings for alumni in Central Orange County take place on the first Friday of each month at Karl Strauss Brewery located at 901A South Coast Drive (Metro Point) in Costa Mesa.
